Smart assist / motor tuning / battery

Hey all,
Smart assist... Sounds good in the marketing blurbs, but what does it actually do?

I was getting some good results with it for a while, but recently I changed my motor tuning I reduced Eco+ to 75% and Normal to 150%

Since doing this, it seems that smart assist uses the Sport /Sport+ selections more... This causing the battery to drain faster.

Anyone have any thoughts/she'd some light?

2020 bike / syncdrive sport / ridecontrol one

Smart assist has 11 steps of assistance that the 6 sensors provide data for so I really don’t think that your own individual tuning settings affects what output it provides.
