BLEvo is smarter than you think, Allan, and it is far smarter than Mission Control is. I agree with
@Nubnub Mission Control hides the true status of batteries. Also, the whole matter of "300 charge cycles" is rather untrustworthy. Let me give you some facts:
Mission Control is so crappy it didn't discover my Vado SL now, at this very moment (it was trying to connect to my big Vado that is not here).
Vado SL
Odometer status: 2047.7 km
Main battery: 100% healthy, 100% charged, charge of 324 Wh, 24 recharges.
Range Extender: 100% healthy, 100% charged, charge of 160 Wh, 15 recharges.
Vado 5.0 (data from last BLEvo records, the e-bike is not here)
Odometer status: A tad above 10,000 km
Battery 1 @100% charge: 502 Wh full capacity (should be 604Wh). Reported number of recharges: 86. (Actual health 83%)
Battery 2 @100% charge: 557 Wh full capacity (should be 604Wh). Reported number of recharges: 84. (Actual health: 92%).
Now, I gladly doubt the batteries will live up the declared 300 recharges. The battery 1 is 23 months from the activation, and the battery 2 is 18 months old.
Why do I worry? The battery is guaranteed for 300 recharge cycles or 2 years, whichever comes first. The warranty for the Battery 1 expires in less than a month. And it is the time to order the Battery 3 as long as they are still made.
