Seth prefers Schrader valves

Schwalbe AV13 has a full metal valve stem.

Cool 😎 Thanks.
I found the tube I want for my tire.
I think it's Schwalbe's fattest tire??
27.5" X 2.8"

Actually,.. the website doesn't speak English and I don't know how to speak French, but luckily my Super Moto-X "Tyres" shipped from England with European sizing that allowed me to translate my sizing into German so I could find the right inner tube on the Schwalbe website. 😂

Continental tubes have threaded Schrader valve stems as well.
Finding a particular size can be difficult

I prefer schrader valve over a presta only because I struggle to use a presta pump, but can suffer though pumping up a presta when needed. But why suffer? All my current bikes use schrader valves and I can use my compressor to to easily pump 'em up. If I even borrow a bike with presta valves I carry those little adapters to convert a presta to a schrader end so its slightly easier to fill it.

Maxxis do a 27.5 x 2.00/3.00 tube which will obviously fit a 2.8 tyre which is OEM for the rear mullet setup on my Frey Beast. It’s not a threaded schrader (like the AV19 schwalbes on my other bike) but the stem is 48mm which is ample length to grip with your fingers when locking on the schrader pump fitting. After 2300 klms I’ve just had my first puncture with the Maxxis tube on the front (29x 2.6) so they are reasonably durable.
