Seatylock Mounting Bracket

I bought this Seatylock U-Lock mounting bracket hoping to use it to mount a Seatylock U-Lock. But the included hardware (sleeve that attaches to the lock bar) doesn't fit the lock bar of my Seatylock Pentagon Mason U-lock. Returning it to Amazon with a negative review.

I am counting on this Internet forum to tell me how it's my fault. Don't disappoint me, Internet.

I'll give it a go. There are 7 different color locks. I have it on good authority* that the mount only works with 6 of the 7 colors. Did you buy the wrong color lock?

I like it!

Sadly, the packaging boldly touts "Fits All U-Lock Models". In a bold font, no less.

It's true that models can be very skinny, but I don't recall seeing any posing with Seatylock U-Locks. And if a model were skinny enough to fit this bracket, immediate medical attention would be called for.
