Screen upgrade?

I noticed for some other brands you can get a third party screen that's color and actual LCD screen from Aliexpress or similar. The stock screen on the Rize looks the same as most ebike brands at this price range so I assume they all come from the same factory in China.

Has anyone tried swapping out the screen with something better?

The answer you're after is going to require knowing more about your bike. If it's a Bafang mid drive, there are several good display choices available. If you have a hub drive, even if it's a Bafang hub, the display MUST be compatible with the controller your bike is equipped with - no exceptions. USUALLY, there's little in the way of choices available.
