And all this time I've gone to the added expense of sending strippers to his house... smh...Lies
It's a "ticket", and like many regulatory infractions in the USA can be ' fixed '.
Believe it or not.
You write a letter on paper, with a pen, signed in ink relaying your good character and innocence to be delivered by US mail to your judge.
You then meet the judge anticipating dismissal; unless you're too afraid.
Or maybe save yourself all that headache by not riding on the sidewalks.Lies

There is no reason why bikes and ebikes can not be ridden responsibly on many sidewalks. Obviously on busy metro sidewalks where there are many walking pedestrians it's not really possible to be riding a bike but in those areas traffic speeds are such that bikes / ebikes can be ridden somewhat safely with traffic. We just need to apply common sense which seems to be lacking from almost everything these days - emotions are driving us to stop thinking. Its a shame humans have to be told not to do this i see guys ripping down the side walk daily, unreal!
Of course an E-Bike could be ridden in a responsibly on a sidewalk in theory but in reality there are far too many idiots riding around for that to happen. There is no reason why bikes and ebikes can not be ridden responsibly on many sidewalks. Regular bikes and ebikes are the same thing here. You can’t ride them on sidewalks. Is Sacramento going to fine regular bicycles riding on sidewalks $207 as well? CNIn the UK you are not allowed to ride on the pavement (sidewalk), unless it is a designated cycle path as defined in the Highway Code.
Similarly you can get fined for this.
This is the sign near us.
