Rome?

So sorry to hear about it Rome...
The issue with disappearing Forum users is we would usually never learn what happened to them.
  • I learned of Alaskan death from Facebook
  • I got the information from Lee related to his serious bike crash from Strava
  • Some Forum member died in a road accident (he was hand-signalling left turn and a driver understood it as a gesture encouraging to overtake the rider). The son of the deceased logged in EBR to tell us about it.
There are so many fine Forum members to disappear and we never learn about their fate. Like David Berry or Sierratim. At least a German friend (very active here in the past) wrote me he simply lost his interest in the Forum.

Now you had disappeared and I started worrying...

Thanks Stefan I'm gunna check in here.
Just for the f*ck of Rome is not dead.
I am however obsessed with my tire sealant. ANY BODY KNOW BETTER SEALANT THAN STAN'S.?
Hi Rome. Very sorry to hear about your friend's passing.
As for sealant, I'm trying a new product called Slica https://silca.cc/pages/ultimate-sealant
It's thicker than most sealants, with tiny bits of carbon fiber, that seal better on larger holes.
I've only had it in my new tires for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on good this product is.
The product is thick enough that it can't be injected through the valve stem. It also has a replenisher, which can be installed through the valve stem every 90 days.

Sad, man. So sorry for you. Let's see what we can do for his kids to help. I have an 8 years old grandkid. I was in hospital this weekend (till I signed myself out). Vague idea. What if they'd bought me a JCB digger when I was young, no job too small, no tracks, no low loader, just people who want some earth shifting around their house. A classic jcb. I reckon that is what he'd want us to say for him.
