He was known of posting insulting posts, which he was deleting later. He hated having his posts quoted as it was leaving the trace of his misdeeds.
I also think he was constantly high.

I don't think he ever contributed to the Forums with anything good. Fancy a new user coming with a serious question. It was always Rome first, offering a misleading, wrong, and rude advice.

Sounds like your behavior Stefan although you seemed to have calmed down these days. I have a whole directory of screenshots of your behavior doing this exact thing in posts and in PMs going back to 2019. It typically appeared to happen as you got drunk, then would wake up the next day and edit your post either on your own or by moderator request. It seems hypocritical for you to codemn this behavior in others. Is your memory that lacking or are you just not self aware?

There was a reason for the quote "Dont be a Stefan"

Not all your advice has been correct, I could go on and on but you advocating use of stem risers would be a easy example.

Perhaps it is best for you to just let this be instead of stabbing him in the back as you are doing now.

Sorry to see Rome go, his posts were always entertaining to read and yes he did contribute some things as anyone who can do a search on his username can see for themself. Lots of off base comments as well mostly directed to EBRs top poster based on quantity not quality who is taking this opportunity for revenge.
 
Ha, I call them characters, I wasnt here for Stefans dark period 😂.

I appreciate strong opinions, I have them too, I can see Stefan could wind some people up even now, but on my scale on forum personalities I have battled he's a big teddy bear.

You can spot my weekend drunk posts when I start replying with increasing boomer opinions.

Romes posts always entertain me because hes clearly not driven by wanting to be liked, it just comes straight from wherever he is at the time.
 
Is it possible to delete your own account on this forum, or does it have to be done by a moderator?

I saw a case on another forum where someone hacked into a users account and deleted it.
 
I kinda like the rabble rousers of the forums. Every form I'm on has at least one. Keeps things fresh and exciting sometimes. I mean really, no matter how much they might aggravate us I'd have a beer with them if they came to my area in person. Also, none of the forums I'm on are life ending important.

And that's how a person like me is given a bad name. Lemming exactly did it: denigrated me.
Can you fancy a person who collects screenshots to put someone else down?
It's sick.

Now, everybody "knows" Stefan had his dark period. Now, everybody "knows" Stefan is a drunkard. I even do not intend to prove I am not a camel. It only feeds forum trolls.

I know exactly what you mean and Im always arguing the way people can be painted by a single off comment without a shred of evidence, its what the media does a thousand times a day.

So in reply, the dark comment was a joke, but I still think you should get a regen geared hub
 
I often wondered if Rome liked to post when he'd been drinking and later on, when he sobered up and realized what he'd typed, delated his posts.
