Roaring noise

I bought 2 XP 3.0 ebikes few months ago. I got the step thru for my wife and the step over for myself. We both throughly enjoy riding them.

My question is when I'm in PAS 2 it makes a very loud whining noise. You can almost here me coming before you see me, LOL. I got on my wife's bike in PAS 2, rode the same route and you hardly hear anything. Very quite. No whining.

I sent a video riding my bike to Lectric Bike customer service with the whining sound and was told that sound I'm hearing is pretty normal.

Any thoughts?

When it fails to move you in PAS2, they will probably replace the motor or something under warranty. Until then, there is no coverage for noises.
