I’m considering putting a pair of Surly Extraterrestrials (27.5 x 2.5) on my Nevo GT. Does anyone know if they’ll fit “OK”?

They might. I suspect they will be a bit tight.

The thing I think you need to worry about is the Surly tires are made for bikes 30 pounds lighter than the Nevo.

Well I’ve put hundreds of miles on my fully loaded Surly Orge (40+ lbs.) with Extraterrestrials on they performed exceptionally well!

And a Nevo fresh from the factory weighs 67.5 lbs so after you load it out it probably is 30lbs heavier.

Surly Extraterrestrial are used on Surly's cargo eBike, 'Big Easy' .
The tire would work well if the fork can accept it.

Thanks for mentioning the Big Easy...Now I’ll just be concerned about the fit.
