Replacing a thumb throttle?

I have an ET Cycles f720 (das-kit motor) and the thumb throttle gets stuck. I want to replace it but don't know about compatibility. How do I find a new one?

Cheaper generic brands may be available but would most certainly involve a connector replacement and working with fine wiring.

Do you have two nylon washers between the throttle and grip?

I don't see any washers. What kind of wiring issues would I run into with a generic throttle?

If the grip rubs without washers, that is a problem. That photo is a standard set up. On some bikes the red and black are reversed, it requires a cross splice.

Does anyone know the pinout for the Das Kit switch throttle? Specifically, I know which pin is +5V, but I don't know which pin is signal and which pin is ground. I cant' find the diagram online. I tried to switch to a Bafang half twist throttle, but it didn't work so I'm thinking Banfang...

You're easiest fix it to replace it with an original throttle.
(I hated that quick throttle and had to replace it.)

On some bikes the red and black are reversed, it requires a cross splice.

When I tried my Das-Kit throttle on my KT controller it didn't work, and reversing the polarity didn't work either.
Das-Kit is quite proprietary and I doubt that reversing the polarity will work?

That thick thumb throttle at Amego looks wrong.
It's got a female plug,..

My thin throttle had a male plug,..

Perhaps they posted the wrong picture?
