since we are back on the correct time and with the extra hour, I decided to replace the grey rim liner with black addmotor liners from Amazon.
the oem liner is a bit thin and both front and back liners were folded over at some areas, not centered and was barely protecting the tube from the spokes
The new liners are thicker and I made sure that they were centered correctly inside the rims this time
