Trek tech in AZ told me their shop was continually patching tubes flattened by cactus thorns. They changed to selling only Slime tubes and problems went away. Convinced me to make the change.

Trek tech in AZ told me their shop was continually patching tubes flattened by cactus thorns. They changed to selling only Slime tubes and problems went away. Convinced me to make the change.

I've used the pre-Slimed tubes too, and they're fine, but if you don't have a reason to buy a new tube, installing Slime in ANY tube works great too! Point being, don't be mislead into the idea you must use Slime tubes to use Slime effectively. They're just an option if you need a new tube.....
