I just saw some eBike world cup recaps on Pinkbike. The comment section was pretty entertaining. Amazing how a bunch of eBike haters can turn on the pro riders who participated. The irony is that those same detractors wouldn't last a lap if those Pros rode Wall Mart bikes with flat tires against them.

I suspect, since the bike manufacturing industry wants a future, that in 5 years there will be Pro eBike teams and a slew of races. It's all about expanding users and it's pretty apparent that gravel and eBikes are the newest "thing".

The only curious aspect will be keeping the racing mostly, by a high percentage, human powered, or you just have motocross.

Speaking of that, the Luna Sun-Ron eDirtBike could usher in eMotoX. That would allow the eMTB racers an advance opportunity ( dictated by earnings) similar to go-kart racing and F series autos.

Gonna be a fun thing to observe, wish I was younger lol
