Red Switch

Just bought a Fat tire FT1900X trike. I can’t figure out what the red push switch is on the right, under the gear selection. When pushed in it showed an error message. If it’s supposed to be reverse, it doesn’t work. Or is it a kill switch like a motorcycle has?
would appreciate any info on its purpose. Thanks
