I already have another rechargeable pump but it's not as portable as this. Might be a nice item to have in the pannier.

Thanks....appreciate the post as i am looking for one....think for a few bucks more i found this one that may be even smaller:

I have something similar. My bike is too heavy for my motor, and these units add too much weight for me to to throw in my micro pack that I take for longer rides, but they are super convenient for filling bike tires or shocks to exactly the PSI that's required, particularly when you're riding after work, losing daylight and pressed for time. Great for when my wife is late for work and says the TPI light came on, and all four tires are running 22-26 PSI!

Picked it up from the Amazon locker yesterday. It seems well built except for the micro USB port which was slightly mis aligned to the case. Have yet to turn it on, though. Will try it out tonight and see if the pressure gauge is accurate. It’s only a little lighter than my current Sun Joe rechargeable pump but the shape is much friendlier to pack than the drill-shaped Sun Joe. We’ll see if it’s a keeper.

You can make one that piggybacks off of your existing battery so less weight. One of these absolutely saved my ass when I ran over a half dozen roofing nails from a nailgun strip. I was tubeless and using FlatOut as the sealant. Without this pump to put some serious volume back into my Snowshoe XLs, I'd have been done for on a cargo bike loaded from a Home Depot run.

It took three refills with a block in between each but after the 3rd everything held. No way could co2 or my arms/Lezyne fat micropump do that. The only catch is you need to put your own plug on the end of it.

Have had to use the thing a half dozen times over the last year. Totally spoiled now and won't ride without one.

Thank you @DaveMatthews for sharing, that is exactly the one i got and it looks they even have a better price now then what i paid for mine.

Yup. Just considering your post makes me put some effort into taking care of that missing part of toolkit on a heavy bicycle.

I just read your article on "bedding in" brakes. Best-explained instruction I've read!

I gave it a shot. It does what it’s supposed to. But it’s really loud. And it lost two bars while pumping my SUV tire from 28 PSI to 34 PSI. I’d probably keep it but I prefer something quieter especially since most of my pumping is done in the early morning hours.
