Received a Call From LBS on Battery Order

I just ordered a battery upgrade from My LBS. They called me today and recommended unless I needed the Battery ASAP. That I should wait . I was informed that in early 2021 Batteries were going down and an even larger battery will be available for no more then what I'd pay for a 600W now . Possibly a fair amount less. SO I decided to wait : Unfortunately they didn't have anything in writing but said it was in My best interest to wait and they would call me when they had more info. Has anyone else heard this : Or maybe a Dealer in the Forum could comment :

I like the sound of this. No experience in this space, however, I hope you keep us posted on the outcome. Can always use an extra battery during long summer rides. More for less is got our name on it, good luck!

I took the Owner of the LBS to a driving range and helped him swing a golf club correctly > I guess when he went with his normal golf group he hit the ball well enough they all want lessons LOL. I quess it helps to have your local LBS consider you more then just a Customer . It didn't cost me anything but some time. I was surprised when they called me

Hope for a usb outlet on it ... IIRC all specialized battery are interchangeable.
