Battery fires are like plane crashes, if it happens even once there is a potentially serious problem. Now it's happened four times that we know about, vs none that we know about among rivals who collectively ship as many or more bikes.

This will be interesting to watch and learn more about the safety of these batteries. The more I learn about ebike fires, the less desire I have to get a Tesla. So much energy in those batteries.
