R&M Bosch Gen 4 Motors.

Guys, those of you that have this new Gen 4 motor, how are you getting on with it as I have read some stories of some of them having strange noises? (sorry if this has been raised before)

I have only done 300 miles on my supercharger2, but so far so good.

Mine sounds great - or maybe it’s the sound of the Rohloff breaking in drowning out all other noises ...

Good news for you folks who have the new gen 4 motor , Bosch have just brought out a new soft wear upgrade which Raises torque from 75Nm to 85Nm , just a matter of going along to your dealer and plug in the bike to get it .

I have the Performance Line Speed Gen4. It is noisy at first, but quiets down. You can tell a difference in the noise level at 20 miles and after 200 miles, it is quite a bit quieter. As far as power, it is great - the Gen4 is much smoother power delivery than our Gen2 CX.
