I don't know about "using it". We recieved ours. This is rack, 2nd bike tray, and ramp.

Anyone has or know someone who has this hitch bike rack? Yes this rack is spendy but it checks all the boxes and is able to use a regular size locking hitch pin. I saw one while I was in Moab, UT this week but I didn't get a chance to chat with the owners as we were on the road.

Wow, what a super slick rack. I guess that you could say that they’ve 1up’d the competition. I was seriously looking at a 1Up Super Duty double until I saw the Mach 2. That being said, it’s a bit more than I would want to pay especially once the exchange is factored in from USD to Cdn $$. Then there is also the lead up time before you can even get your hands on one.

Sorry Canadian taxes hit you so hard. I have purchased products purposely angling toward getting them from Canada because they were made well there. The exchange rate went in my favor but, that was just an added bonus.

The 1Up is still within reach even with shipping as I think it’s well built and made in the good ole USA. The Kuat NV 2.0 was another rack I had my eye on but it only incorporates one folding wheel chock and uses a rubber strap on the other. Just didn't look as solid.

The yet-to-be-released Kuat Pivot Pro X screams, ‘Never mind, you can’t afford me!!’

Coincidentally we followed behind a car with a Ride One Up(?) rack today. FIrst I've seen in a year, and it had three bikes on it. I went back over the development story of QuikrStuff a bit with my wife and said, I'm so glad we got the improvements the new rack has.

I placed my order in April and I have an ETA of October. How does it work with the rear fenders? I have an ebike with metal fender and another one with a plastic fender. Both are wired for rear lights. I’m worried about damaging them. I saw that the Kuat Piston Pro X, has a position that would accommodate the fenders, but you secure the wheels with velcro straps. Not sure how secure that would be.

I have a Piston Pro. My Creo has no fenders and though the bike is secure without straps, I use them anyway, to minimize shaking of the bike. I believe that’s best with any rack that uses this clamping method, including the 1Up Super Duty or the QiickrRack. This is particularly true with carbon wheels, as clamping the bike forcefully enough to prevent any movement could damage them. Just my opinion, of course.

My wife’s Rad Mini does have fenders, and the Piston Pro works with the clamping bar lowered as recommended and the use of straps. Having used the rack in this manner, I don’t see any risk with this method.

My grandson’s new Rad Extend 5 (replacement model for the Mini) also has fenders, and it does NOT work. First time out, I had to remove the rear fender. I would have to cut several inches off the fender to make it work without removal. I haven’t bothered to measure the differences between the two Rads, but the odd thing is Kuat says the rack will work as long as the fender is above the axle, and both Rads meet that requirement.

1Up does carry fender cushions but I have no personal experience with them.

One forum member here seems to find them quite adequate for his needs though.

I ordered the QuikRack Mach 2, 2nd tray, ramp, license plate attachment, and 2 wheel locks at the end of July 2023. Everything arrived 2 months later. The QuikRack was an upgrade to my old +8 year old Saris Freedom SuperClamp4 with fat tire trays. Needed a new platform rack because I planning to upgrade from my 2016 4" fat tire Radrovers at 70lbs to the 4.8" fat tire full suspension eMTB 1000w mid-drive Himiway Cobra Pro with a longer wheelbase and 90lbs out the box weight. It was getting way too hard to manhandle the 70lbs Saris rack and deadlift a +70lbs Radrover ebike over 3 trays on my Saris rack (I think my Saris maxed out at 75lbs each tray).

My 4'11" wife can install the QuikRack 28lbs hitch attach rack or 22lbs 2nd extension rack, attach the QuikRack ramp, push her 70lbs Radcity step-thru ebike on the rack, and lock it down. I didn't have to adjust the pedals, no need to adjust/remove my seat for handlebars, and I can leave my kickstand up (had to leave my kickstand down with my Saris rack to lock arms on the tire).

I added the Curt 53201 LED aux 4-way lights to the QuikRack. I added sticky back velcro strips to bottom and outside rear facing edge of each rack and ramp. I can quickly move the LED light strips around with the rack in the up or down position with 1, 2, or 1+2+ramp installed on the back of my SUV.
