Pure torque control. Cadence and others if included leads to unnatural ride.

This is a total outrage... Have you contacted your House of Commons representative to see what can be done?

Recent comments have officially qualified this thread a terd... Good luck 🙃

A right hand half-twist throttle. I'd install a cadence PAS sensor, but what I have won't fit on the crank. Being that the bike is a Cannondale Badboy it is super nimble, and functions surprisingly well with its 350w geared front hub motor. It probably gets 750w full throttle.
It looks as if your saddle will let you slide back farther than is typical these days. I like that but prefer to go back farther. It's uncommon for a ladder to have rungs more than 12" apart. I believe that's because ladder makers know it's a problem to transmit much force through a knee bent more than 90 degrees.

My Radmission was advertised at 500 W, but I got only 350 mechanical watts on a 6.1% grade. An aftermarket controller gives me 700 W, which I find adequate. Also, it lets me use throttle without switching on PAS. Without PAS, pedaling can be completely natural. It's a single speed, so I swallow my pride and dial in a little motor torque here and there.

The wheelbase is only 44". I guess that's to make it more nimble. I'd rather have a longer wheelbase. Hmmmm.... a bike with an adjustable wheelbase....

The title of this thread is completely false in the case of my Specialized Vado SL mid-drive. Specialized's highly sophisticated "Turbo" PAS relies primarily on built-in rider power, cadence, and wheel speed sensors. And once you have rider power and cadence, you also have rider torque.

Since instantaneous rider power is the dominant control variable, I think of the Turbo PAS as power-sensing. I can't imagine a more natural-feeling power delivery.

My torque-sensing hub-drive lacks some of the SL's finesse on this front, but it still does a good job of doling out motor power in response to pedal force. It necessarily detects crank rotation for safety reasons but has no way to measure or calculate crank RPM or rider power. Result: A quite natural-feeling power delivery from torque and wheel speed sensors alone.

Bottom line: You can get very good results from a purely torque-sensing PAS, but better ways do exist.
I would recommend the torgue sensor bottom bracket on hubwheel drives especially to newbies it gives you so much more control over the bike and i lug around a fatty 20x4 ,the stock controller isnt too exciting and cuts out at around 20km's but by that stage i found i was well away from narrow spaces were the torgue is needed cadence in such areas is full power no inbetweens but to truly enjoy the sensor look for a torgue sensor controller u will be giving up your cadence for this as theres no cables well not on mine anyway stock or non .and a controller that knows torgue sensing for this i got the 860c i think bafang run it on mid and hubs might haveto swap a wire on the display block no biggie but man this completely changed the whole bike id lots of torgue modes the motor was stamped 250watt but stated on website 500watt min and in my opinion for a motor rated so low and apparently work free they state this hub is maintenance free but ill always adjust a bike no matter so i popped it open and to see carbon gears chunky grips on both gears and were they run looked class so i done what i opened it to do that was to makesure it was sealed properly then screwed down im going to build a much more bike like frame and strip it and convert everything over would u believe me if i told u i peak 1480watts with a continuous as much as probs half ive never tested it but ro do it on its stock battery which in my opinion for a thin lil 10ah 48v battery on a heavy bike with nobbly winter tyres my heavy butt and whatever i carry daily i get away with 2charges a week i have a 20ah for it but thats for the new frame im thinking chopper style ish with another motor if i can get one.u gotta be careful tho the exact same bike to look at is also available with a printed 500watt motor looks the same in everyway but has cadence thats how u tell the difference and the price tag about half but while i wait on troubleshooting 2middrives this fatty is rhe bomb ✌️p.s all for bottombracket torgue sensors learn how to tweak them 😉while staying within the law 🤠
