Proteco Phantom XR 5 hub noises

After riding my 2 month new ProdecoTech Phantom XR 5 for about 500 plus miles, I run into issues with having some cracking like sounds coming from the hub area. I posted a video on you tube, please check it out. Half way through this short video the noises intensify. Any feedback and help is much appreciated. Thank you ;

Sounds like chain slip.. Can you run the motor with the throttle, without pedaling, and do you still gdt the noise.

I tried it out, no pedaling...just the motor and the same noise.

To me it felt like rotors were rubbing against the pad!??
if not , something to do with the bearing?

Still hard over on the chain slip.. Try running the bike in a different gear.

Don't think it's the brakes because the rub would be 1x, but this noise is intermittent.

If that doesn't make a difference, then it sounds like a small magnet is loose inside the motor..

Ravi's right; you need to check the alignment of the disc brake rotor and pads by looking at that from the back as you spin the wheel. Otherwise, contact Prodeco Tech technical help (800-943-6190), Luis is good and if need be, they will repair the motor at no cost while it is under warranty. I have heard of issues with the stator inside some motors, but that is all fixable!
