I'm trying to find out what the specs/ part number is for the 2-pin power connector that connects the battery pack to the Bike.
(Not the charging barrel connector)
Mine are working fine, so I don't want to open the pack to look for any manufacturer markings, as it would void my warranty.
They do appear to be a standard looking part and are not molded into the plastic, so they are most likely an off-the-shelf component.
Has anyone looked into this already? (Couldn't find anything on search)
Is anyone that is comfortable opening their pack able to take a look for me?
You're probably asking why I would want to know ...
2 main Reasons:
1) I'd like to make a 'dust cap' for the bike.
To keep the connector clean when the battery is not connected.
Good for storage and while transporting the bike on a hitch carrier.
2) Easy connection of a voltmeter while charging.
I'd like to be able to monitor the actual battery voltage while charging using the supplied charger.
I have used my multi-meter to spot check, but find its difficult to hod the probes for any prolonged period - it would be nice to have something I can just plug in.
Thanks!
