Possessed bike?

I recently bought a second hand 2017 volt bike mariner and it was fine for the first month but I woke up to it running itself, turned on in the middle of the night. I turned it off and went back to bed to find it had turned itself on again but I had to get to work so I just used it. About 5 minutes into my ride it started randomly switching between speed settings and wouldn't react to any of the buttons so I turned it off, and couldn't turn it back on, until it did so itself in the car. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem?? Can't find anything online

Either you or previous owner probably rode it in the rain? I suggest replacing the display and its buttons first, as it's most susceptible,, and then the controller.

Ah yeah living in a rainforest kinda hard not too, I got a computer replacement piece, would that be enough or should I replace everything? How do I prevent this in the future? I need to bike in the rain it's unavoidable
