Planning to purchase Eranger Urban Fat Cruiser ??? Opinions ?

Hello Everyone,

I am planning on buying a Eranger Urban Fat Cruiser 26, seems a bit expensive when compared to the other Fat tire, banana seat bikes. I spoke to the creator i guess, benjamin Ho on the phone and he said that if i ordered the bike today, it will come in 5 days since i live california. The all togeather with shipping costs around 2800 USD. I have seen other options out there like Juiced Cityscrambler 750W, AddMotor M60 R7, Super 73 S, but they all seem to be delivered too late at the end of the year. Its still sunny and all in CA and i want to get something before the Sun goes off.

Any suggestions ? I havent seen much on Eranger Fat Bike, so hoping someone here can enlighten me and probably steer me in the right direction. I am basically looking for a fat tire banana seat electric bike ... that can be delivered within then next 2 to 3 weeks ...

Not a lot of options for that style of bike. Seems to be priced competitvely for that that style. It's hard to tell how big the company is by their website. You most likely have, but do a thorough and exhaustive search on the web for customer service reviews. Juiced bikes has a lot of owners on this forum ( I know the scrambler hasn't ship yet), you can get a feel for their customer service. Not sure about the others.

An owner of an Radrover did add a banana seat: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/hotrad-rover-mods-custom.13064/

You run into the issue of availability with Rad Power Bikes because of the tariff increases over the summer. Those are interesting ebikes. I was thinking if the seat still don't work for you because of comfort and/or riding position, not sure how you could change it? My old knees wouldn't last long with this ebike.

That does seem expensive. Pedaling looks very awkward on that style "bicycle". No adjustment to the seat, so you just have to hope you fit well on it.
