the "ijoits" spoil it for everyone,first it was the Surron idiots bringing the focus on 2 wheelers ,then the irresponsible kids,I watched a you tube video (a few years back) of a dark skinned ebike rider blasting down a trail wide open just barely missing elderly folks trying to have a nice stroll and laughing all the way! the video disappeared fairly quickly,such as we have to deal with.

NJ sucks:

Really. A gasoline engine motorcycle graphic for speed pedelecs from 20-28mph. Nothing intended there. Drivers license required on ebikes but minimum age of 15 who are too young for a drivers license. Also a bike or ebike can be said to be "designed to be stood upon" so not a great way to define an electric scooter. I wish lawmakers would consult with technical people / engineers when writing requlations like this. This is just embarrassing legislation and the CPSC should preempt the ebike parts for violation of HR727.
