I think Pedego is succesful in USA based on being first in market. But when i check many e-bike stores in USA or Germany most of the succesful ones carry many different brands. It give you those advantages
- Can have more variety of products.
- Have better chance of negotiation with supplier
- Can focus on your market . If there is a demand for E-MTB and you just sell pedego trust me you will lose lot of customers. You will need more like Haibike, Bull or Cube kind of bikes.
This is my small advice.
