Pedego ships wrong parts - again. Can not ride bike during peak season

My Interceptor had a bent fork. I ordered a fork from Pedego and waited a week for shipment - wrong part.

My Interceptor than had an issue with the motor not energizing. After several days of troubleshooting, Tech support sent me a new controller and wiring harness adapter. Again, wrong parts.

My bike has been down for over 2 weeks due to incorrect parts shipped from Pedego.

Highly dis satisfied with these delays and errors. In both cases, the parts were easily identifiable as incorrect by simple inspection.

Disappointing that we pay a premium for a name brand, pay for replacement parts and then are unable to bike during the prime biking season.

My advice - if shopping for a bike, find a company with a good track record for support.

I had the same problem when our local Pedego shop ordered parts for my wife's Commuter. The first time, when a new controller was needed, they sent the wrong controller and had to send another, which meant my wife couldn't ride her bike for 3 weeks.
Second time was when the shop ordered a display replacement because of water leakage. Once again Pedego sent the wrong part and my shop had to order another one. This time the bike was off the road for two weeks.

When I picked up the correct display the shop mechanic told me that there was only one more 36W display left and Pedego had no plans to make any more. If her display goes south again we would have to order a 48W display and a new 48W controller.
The bike is only 4 years old and Pedego has already stopped making some parts for the bike. 🤬
