Has anyone installed a splitter to their headlight to run a wired taillight

Why not use a tail light with an internal battery that recharges via the USB port on your Bike's display? You can leave it plugged in or just recharge when necessary. Placement is a snap. They mount on the bike, a helmet, backpack etc.
