I'v put in a bunch of hours looking at E bikes the last week. Seems most are built up from the same parts. Living in Utah it looks like the Magnum bike companies HQ is in Salt Lake. I'v been building up and working on my own road bikes for over 40 years so I know all about the part lines from Campy, Shimano, SRAM etc. When it comes to consumer E bikes it a bit of a different game in that I still don't know who all the major supplier are. But, it seems that if I were to pick one of the Magnum models I should have good luck sourcing parts in the future. Is there any one brand of E bike which is best from a commodity parts stand point?

the name brands would be the best case. bikes that use standard components. the electronics are the tricky part. bosch shimano and yamaha its easy to get parts for them.
