Panda Express hates vegetarians!

So my wife is a vegetarian and when we went to Panda Express she would get a Cub meal with white rice and spring rolls. Panda Express recently changed the Cub meal so you can no longer get the spring rolls. So my wife thinks "I can just get a small white rice and spring rolls!" but no, the smallest rice order is a medium. I know what some are thinking, just toss what you don't finish in the trash, but that won't fly with my wife. She's been down the Struggle Road before and knows the importance of not wasting. We have officially quit eating at Panda Express.

I have a Panda Express down the road from work. It NEVER comes up on the "What are we getting for lunch?" list, because we also have a real deal Chinese food place by work as well. My Chinese food place also does Tofu General Tso! So Panda Express can keep their bland old same menu for now on. I just think its weird (Probably profit driven) that they hate vegetarians so much.
Yeah, I tried Panda Express two times and it was pretty bad, the chicken was so fatty, too much salt, and the vegetables were so greasy, I couldn't finish them. Home cooking is the only solution for anyone who wants to eat healthy.. Tofu taco's for me tonight.

You didn’t learn the first time??? Yeah, I had it a couple of times, no more.

My wife liked their spring rolls, and the Cub meal was the perfect portion size. She hates mushrooms and claims all the Chinese restaurants I like put mushrooms in their spring rolls. I never cared for Pande Express myself. And they do hate vegetarians! All but 2 items has meat in it. Plus they did away with the Beyond Chicken they claim sold poorly, yet they've brought it back multiple times.
I love tofu, hot and sour soup and properly prepared general Tso's chicken.

i don’t think panda “hates vegetarians,” but the way they keep shrinking options and forcing bigger portions feels like pure spreadsheet thinking. taking away the cub meal spring rolls is especially dumb when that was one of the few easy meatless picks. also yeah, reheated rice can be sketchy if it sat out too long, but “butt plug in public” is a wild warning. i quit going there after my phone got blasted with weird geo-targeted ads while i ate, including https://cricketbettingapps.org/mumbai and it just added to the “why am i here” feeling. support the mom-and-pop spots when you can; they’re usually way more flexible about swapping sides.
I completely agree—Panda has really pushed aside vegetarians for profit: they removed spring rolls from the Cub meal, Beyond Chicken is sometimes unavailable, and of the two vegetarian dishes, one now only comes with medium-rare rice. My wife has also stopped going there; now we get General Tso tofu at the local Chinese place—it's tastier, and it's worth the waste.

is it good? I want to take more meat out of my diet,my trouble is I cant make it on vegetables( its kinda like the quandary the vampire is faced with when they don't want to harm others} I actually love tofu and bland things. You know I have never found a hair in my food at a Chinese restaurant, wish I could say the same at"waffle house". One interesting thing happened at a eatery once, wifey and me don't like to smell stinkin cigarettes when we are trying to eat-it happened thusly,we requested no smoking and were seated no sooner then we were seated we noticed someone foggin the air in an adjacent table, pointed that out to the waitress, her excuse was( wait for it) all these tables are alternating smoking and non smoking( believe it or not) long about this time I started to lose hope for the human race.

I feel for folks who don’t have local eateries available to them. It’s kind of the way of the world, I guess. I don’t cook much, but I can find what I want locally. I do live a little bit in the sticks.

I'm sorry but I don't know why anyone would think that a privately owned business would be obligated to cater to them? Why should they prepare food for a minority that will cost them in labor, fuel and food that will mostly end up in the trash because there's just not enough clientele that order it?
This attitude of entitlement and that others are obligated to you is a bit self centered.
ymmv
