Orbea range extender

Does anyone use the Orbea range extender on their Vado's ? if so how is it working out for you , just looking for some extra miles and don't want to buy the full battery or carry it around on a ride

Why would you use the Orbea range extender rather than the Specialized? I doubt the Orbea plug would be compatible with the Specialized charge port.
