Orbea range extender

Just purchased a Orbea Gain Range Extender..
Its not working...seems completely dead..no light on pressing the button short or long..
Green light on battery charger..am I being a bit thick here before i go back to the
shop tomorrow..many thanks..

It’s been on charge for approximately four hours..no joy..

and the little light on the charger was showing green as soon as i

Did anyone find a solution other than returning the battery? I have the same issue on a brand new extender. received yesterday. Won't charge. No light on battery. Light on charger is green from the start.

I ended up returning it - the shop either couldn’t be bothered trying to resolve the issue or Orbea didn’t offer a solution.

Thanks! I will do the same. I have an adventure ride coming up soon and would've been nice to have the extender..oh well.

I emailed Orbea directly but they referred me to a dealer. I was going to use another dealer, mine was useless, but they quoted £50 to out through a warranty claim.

It was the charging lead that was faulty. New one was £60 from Orbea

Hmm..Charging lead? Not sure if you mean the cable on the charger itself (which is working fine at charging the onboard/integrated battery) or something internal to the extender. I prefer not to take the battery apart and void possibility of warranty or return. Thanks for sharing the fix/issue. If you have a photo that would be great. Might be I run into this issue again with a replacement.
