NYC: Space to work on converting a bike

Hi fellow DIYers - Apologies in advance if this is not the forum for this type of post.

My friends and I are looking to embark on conversion projects on multiple bikes and for those that are in NYC or have experience here, I was wondering if anyone know or have a lead to a workspace where we can work on our bikes and leave it there as well. So far, we've looked up garages (there's a shortage in NYC apparently), makerspaces and motorcycle garages but no solid lead yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So far, finding one with power and/or 24 hour access has been a challenge.
