Welcome the the site & the electric side of the hobby.
I pedal unpowered as much as I can, but electricity allowed me to add 8 miles and ~40 hills to my weekly commute to my summer property to avoid proximity to 70 mph traffic on 8" wide berms. I also twisted my knee early July and hardly pedaled at all until this week. With electric bike I control my exercise; circumstances don't control me.
