Not enough power

We bought 2 Igo Royals. Mine seems fine but my husband has to be in 8th assist before he gets any power. Ideas?

1) Try swapping bikes. 2) If they are significantly different then contact the Mfg. and tell them of the problem. It could be a faulty part such as a controller or a simple programing fix such as resetting the amps or speed limit on the display.

Sorry I didn't explain. He has ridden both bikes. Mine throttle kicks in right away. He has to be doing the pas level by peddling before the throttle starts the motor to run. I can be in pas 3 and he has to be in 8 to get enough speed to catch up ro me.
