This motor has been under development for awhile and looks to be a nice contender for the road bike set looking for a light weight, relatively, booster: https://www.bike-eu.com/sales-trends/nieuws/2019/08/nidec-presents-super-small-motor-10136282

I like this one for mtb use though @ 700w 95nm torque with their quad sensor technology: http://www.imajteknik.net/uploads/nidec-ebike-system.pdf

It is in the ball park weight wise @ 3.5kg and pretty compact and narrow for good Q factor. Their batteries aren't that big at 407wh but if they aren't proprietary system there a plenty of 48v options available.

I am with you on the cheap thing Timpo, just got another TSDZ2 for $350. But I am in the market for an integrated unit so as to get the udder thing out of my life. I have my standards though that have been set by using that system with good success for my style of mtb' ing and require the integrated one to be as potentially equal or better.

I like the idea of the dual torque sensor so that both cranks are activating the system. We all have one side that is weaker than the other while pedaling and that might be a good thing? The one where if you tip over is something that I think is a bit over the top though....
