Newbie needs help

I’ve never been around E bikes but the idea sounds like a lot of fun.
I have a 2018 Rocky Mountain Growler and would like to install a mid drive kit. I was curious if those Bafang kits are any good and which one I need.

BBSHD has strong torque, but if you’re planning to ride it off road be sure to fit motor inhibitors to the brake levers so the power cuts when you brake. I bought my BBS01 from California ebike and they have given me good parts support. If the kit doesn’t come with one I recommend getting a BSB-1 stabilizer bar from them to stop the motor rotating in the bottom bracket. They supply good batteries from EM3EV
