Newbie needs advice.

Looking for some advice. I’m looking to get an ebike to help me with the hills and stuff. I’m 53 years old and 5’11” and 275 lbs. I was told I should possibly look at a larger motor (750watt) And possibly fat tires due to size. Not many ebike shops around my area in Mass so might be going the internet route. I have looked at three models. First is the Ancheer 27.5 48v 10.4 battery and has a 500 watt motor and says bike handles up to 330lbs. The second is the Eahora 750 watt 4.0 fat tire 48v 14ah battery. Also supports up to 330 lbs. and lastly is a Speedrid 4.0 500watt motor 48v 10ah battery with fat tires. Any advice is welcome. Unfortunately Looking for bikes in this price range.

I strongly suggest you search EBR for the dozens of threads posted by searchers like yourself (and me, once). There is already a wealth of info out there and you will get it much more quickly that way. 500 watt motors too weak for you.

There are bike shops in and around Framingham, though unfortunately, you have to make an appointment. I do believe that some and not all do sell ebikes. Good luck.
