New Zen Samurai:)

Sounds like you have the right skills and equipment to create a really nice solution! By the way I think the right number of bikes is always one more;)

I am wondering how satisfied you have been with your rack since adding the supports. I’m contemplating getting a Samurai and do have concerns about how the rack will support a load. I also believe I noticed a fender extender on your front fender and wondered if you did indeed extend your front fender and if so, what did you purchase?

The fender extender came on the bike when I bought it. No issues at all with the rack since adding the supports. Zero complaints about the bike right now:)

Thanks for the response and glad things are working well for you.
Yeah to be fair it probably depends on how much weight you’re putting on the rack…I’m carrying 30lbs on the bike consistently and the stock setup could not handle that. If you’re carrying less it may not be an issue, but I’m sure anything more than 20lbs will eventually loosen up the stock attachment points. Hope the bike works out for you if you get it, really been enjoying mine!
