New to the e-bike

Long time cyclist here, I've ridden road bikes, touring bikes, pulled burley trailer with kids, pulled early trail-a-bike AlleyCat Shadow, ridden tandem with my kids, and did bike packing looooong before the term was coined. I've been off the bike for several years--the old bad knees story. Got a Gazelle Medeo 9 two days ago, it was an easy decision once I got over the pride thing. Ya know? Anyway I'm having fun so far.

It was knee pain that got me on an ebike also. After the initial rush of the power and speed of my ebike I now only use enough assist to limit the pain.

I’m in my 30s in great shape. I ride my e-bikes all the time, as well as traditional bikes. These things are just fantastic adventure machines. The battery helps with sweat, hills, and cargo. Also have had some of my best workouts on the e-bikes. And plus, I’d be in my car otherwise..

Really dig that Medeo! Don’t feel bad about riding an awesome bike!

Also how do you like the pedal feel of the Bosch motor?

I haven't ridden it much due to stupid rain! But so far it's pretty seamless and smooth.

Yeah lots of rain here too. Should have avoided the gravel trails today. Instead jammed up my bike with clay far from home and had to carry it out a good 1/2 mile.
