How much does the bike weigh?

The website say 65 lbs but I'll bet it ways as much or more than the Sondors XS which is listed at 75 lbs.

No, but you might consider the Cruiser which has 3" tires.

You could replace the 26x4.9 tires on the LX with 26x4.0 or 26x3.8 (if you could find them) and sell the original tires.

Thank you for posting these pictures but for clarity sake, is this measured from the floor to seat or from the pedal at bottom stroke?

Also I just heard from Sondors that my LX likely won't be in my hands until the end of the first week in March. They are expecting it at their fulfilment facility between 22nd and 26th of February.

You could add a suspension shock to the Cruiser it could be a straight bolt on. the same as the LX although I don't know that for sure.

That's too bad. Seems more and more likely this bike is going to be too big for me. And to think they had my money for 6 months, I'm weeks away from getting it all to find out now it's too big

I am sorry about that. It would make it more like what, 34" to seat top to ground?

That would be disappointing. Maybe someone at Sondors could help you resolve this problem. They are responsive to questions and concerns.

If it weighs 15 pounds more than what they said it would that probably means the other two models could be heavier as well although I suspect that the lx is be the heaviest because of the beefed up stepthrough frame and those big fatty tires.

Sondors has updated the weights of all mid-drive models on their website:

Rockstar = 83 lbs
Cruiser = 79 lbs
LX = 89 lbs

What they need to do is update those dimensions, that way someone doesn't plunk down money for 6 months only to find out last minute that the bike is too big.

I agree. Its a great looking bike with great specs but it will not fit the majority, I dare say.

Sondors has updated the weights of all mid-drive models on their website:

Rockstar = 83 lbs
Cruiser = 79 lbs
LX = 89 lbs

The extra weight must be coming from the newly designed frames. They are definitely beefier and are less likely to have stress issues that can cause failure.
