My son bought me an Aventon Level.2 for Christmas, so as an owner, this my first. He and his girlfriend have reen riding e-Bikes for a couple of years and during this time I rode thier bikes and really liked them. This September, we were staying in downtown Chicago and we had the opportunity to rent e-bikes from Lyft and rode through the city and parks around the city putting on about 42 miles of riding. I guess my son saw how quickly I acclimated to riding. I must say Chicago is very friendly to bikes as they have roads set up and in the main bike routes in the city they even have bike traffic lights. I really like this Aventon Level.2 as it is nimble, quick, and very well made. I have begun to get accesories such as a Foldylock, left mirror, bell, Aventon Glide seatpost, and a Engwe rear rack bag. The Level.2 has torque sensing assist in 5 levels and it works very well. I have riden with no assist and I was suprised how easy it was to ride a 60 lb. e-bike like a regular bike. I unlocked and took it to Level 3 specs and I easily hit 28.5 mph. Now keep in mind I'm 70 years old, so I was very pleased to be riding such a capable machine. Anyway that's my new introduction guy story.
