New Brake Pads work wonders!

After 2200 miles decided to just replace the brake pads, even though there was about 50% pad remaining.

Sanded the discs with 150 grit, then moved up to 400 and finished with Scotch Brite.

Bedded the new pads and wow! Just like new... I had forgotten what immediate stopping felt like.. locked up the rear tire no problem!

For $13 organic semi metallic pads, just plan on replacing every year.

2200 miles!

I wouldn't mind some of that. I get anything from 100 miles to 200 miles from a set.

That pattern has followed through from the BH, Haibike and now the KTM.

You also have lovely bright warm sunshine as well. :)

I long to see and feel some of that. :(

Really? I have 1500 miles on my BH Neo dream machine, I hit the brakes all the time and have noticed no degredation in stopping power whatsoever. A 2000 mile replacement cycle sounds reasonable though.

There are different riding styles. You can read between the lines of that statement. :)
