@Dmitri I get what your preferences are. Mine are different and there are many others that differ from both of us. Rather than urging manufacturers to accommodate your preferences and not those of others is the wrong path. Let manufacturers decide who their customers are and accommodate as many or as few of them that they choose. Then the customers can choose which bike maker offers the features and options that they want
In the Bosch world that means for displays there are the minimal Purion, the easier to use but larger Intuvia, the larger yet,more colorful and robustly capable Nyon and then the Cobi.
Specialized decided they want to make the fact of electrical assist more discrete and opts for no display at all. I ride an ebike and am not ashamed of it. So I don't care if there is an extra protrusion on my bike (obvious battery). I like the shorter, fatter form factor as it is easy to carry a spare in a trunk bag, aesthetics be damned.
I wouldn't ask Bosch to not make power tubes because I don't like them. I know that many others strongly prefer that. I just hope they keep making the older style battery.
