My Teo`s New Eye`s....

:DHope everyone is having fun since i do not see much activity on forum.

The last (i hope) of my add-on`s for Tèo finally showed up, camera and the new headlight.

The camera looks promising considering what i paid for it, one small issue i find is that they do not include a proper handlebar mount like this one to mount the camera case to it directly instead of building a tower from all these other parts to finally attach the case, don`t get me wrong there is a lot of options to mount it however i would prefer more direct mount to the handlebar to possibly eliminate the vibrations. Still considering to get a second camera to point it backwards and make recordings of what i just passed or of that pissed off driver ramming into me because he is bigger and really hates people that ride bikes since he never learned how to ride a bike himself and he thinks he is better than anyone else.

The headlight comes as a pair, i only installed one for time being, just to see how well it will illuminate my pathways and the verdict is in, so far i like it, the brightness is night and day comparing to the original and even to the one i have on the handlebar, did not have anyone yet honk at me or give me the Trudeau salute for blinding them but you be the judge, see video clip here .

:confused::mad::oops:o_OSorry i have no clue how to upload a video here, this is the best i can do .
As you can see i have learned a few new things since the original posting...hahaha:D

NEW EDIT TO MY STORY 07-30-17
Today went for a short ride thru some new places, had couple of spills over large logs, no damage to the bike but lost my Megulla light in one of the falls when i went one way and Teo went elsewhere into the bush, took me half an hour to find it after i realized it was missing. Hope no one seen me fall....:oops:o_O:mad:

New update to the camera is that they said it works for 90 minutes on a charge, well i have a winner here because it lasted for 2.6 hours before it quit recording @ 1280x720. Well i`m no movie maker but it looks ok to me as far as quality goes. Yes there is a setting for 1080P@1920x1080 however my eyes can not see the difference.

The ride was about 30 km, on Pass 3 without using the throttle and when i came back the battery charge was still on full, not even 1 bar used, i am impressed. ;)

Here is a few pictures...

Very Nice @AguassissiM ! That light looks very bright:) As far as mounting the camera to the bike goes, I'm not sure a bike mount will reduce vibration, it will probably increase it. From our experience shooting video while Atving, the helmet mount was always the smoothest video. Maybe it would be different on the bike if you're riding smooth trails etc. Easy thing to test.:)

:DThank you all for kind words.:D
@america94 actually the light on the handle bar has a little wider beam spread than the main one, the main one is just a little brighter with a further forward reach if that makes any sense.
@Falken i thought that the shorter the distance from handlebar to the camera case than i have less vibrations, you`re probably right and someday i may helmet mount it but for now i just do not trust that sticky tape to hold it firmly in place.

Came to the conclusion that i can not put up any longer with getting numbness in my hands and wanted to fix it.
Watched few videos of ways of dealing with it, also read few articles on the subject, looked at my Teo and came up with the idea of turning around the handlebar stem by 180* to get a more upright riding position, of course then i realized the saddle was way to close since i did some adjustments earlier to it so had to put it back to its original position. Did not think that this would work at all, it looked gimmicky at best, since i was way too tired, after my week from hell at work, to go for a test run i just left it alone. Did not care who or what kind of opinion will have about the new set-up.
Must admit i like it, a lot less tingling in my hands and numbness almost went away or did not happened as frequently as before.

Wanted to go and explore the country side today.
Had my morning coffee in one hand and the garage opener in the other and went to put my camera on the bike, almost lost my coffee mug when the door opened and i saw my camera case on the floor.:mad:o_O:confused: At first i thought that someone accidentally knocked it off but the bracket that was attached to the extension bar has cracked in two places and fallen off the bike, lucky the camera was inside the house being charged.
Called amazon and asked about getting a replacement bracket since this one is only two weeks old, :eek:sorry they said "we can`t send just the bracket but we will :Dcredit your account so you can purchase one of your choice". :D
Well i have heard of others getting a super customer service but to experience it myself, had to pinch my ear a couple of times to believe what was happening to me at 7 o`clock in the morning on a Sunday. Guess miracles do happen.

Fixed the camera with some Velcro and off we went, myself and my son riding a 1980`s Peugeot speed bike.

From my place to Kelso in Milton is 25 km the way we went, on PASS 4 and just switching gears lost 1 bar out of 5 on the display however the battery was still showing 4 bars upon arrival. :)
At Kelso they have 22 km of trails to explore.:D
Once there i did use some throttle and mostly PASS 5 and lost 1 more bar on the display and 1 bar on the battery. On the way back we put in 27 km. I was getting tired and did not care anymore and used PASS 6 all the way home. Still had 2 bars left on the battery and the display when i rolled into my driveway. Now in my book that is darn awesome performance for the battery or did i give way too much assistance to the motor hence the good result of battery performance.

Sorry for rumbling on, here are pictures of the new set-up:

I think your camera is taking great video! I'm not fully understanding what happened to the case? Did someone try to steal it or something? Damage from the fall? Great idea on the stem! Even though you said opinions you could care less about, I think it looks good!:). I know what you mean about getting numb hands, happens to me sometimes as well. Nice again to hear about the super capacity on these batteries. Looks like you are having a ton of fun with the bike! Hope there wasn't too much damage to yourself or the bike on your gravity test. ;)

A red maple leaf might look cool in the center of that reflector:cool:

@Falken Thank you for the kind words sir.

I just forgot to upload the pictures of the camera bracket that fell apart, sorry fixed now.
Not possible it got damaged in the fall since it is mounted in the middle of the cockpit area and i always check everything out to make sure no damage was done.
O the only damage that was done today is my bruised ego and embarrassment.
Still working on that maple leaf, funny you mentioned that for that was the first thing my son said that the maple leaf is missing.

Sorry all videos were made private or taken down due to personal situation.
