Fat tire carriers are just way too expensive

I ended up getting a regular cargo carrier for $40 bucks on FB Marketplace and it works perfectly for my X3 Pro

An adjustable shackle lock around the base loop and a couple of cam straps around the wheels keep it secure

Yup, and those baskets are quite strong if you reinforce them in the right way. I built a dirt bike tray for my old one and it worked fantastic for years.

I have been using a 2 bike SportRack for nearly 20 years and it looks and functions close to new condition. Served me well. I use it for a 45# E-bike within rated specs..

That's what I use today as well - a SportRack Crest 2 Locking that I got on sale for $100. I have removed the second set of tire hoops and locking arm to reduce the clutter, and it works great for one fat Ebike. I still have the basket if I want to move both my Ebikes together, it's just a bit more work to tie them down.

Yeah, the Crest2 you have referenced is just about identical to mine. I had to expand the hoops a bit to fit my eMTB 2.8 inch wide tires. A tight fit, but it works. No need to buy the accessory hoops made for wider tires.
