Just in case anyone else has thought about this...
It’s been bugging me that the headlight has moved whenever I’ve laid my bike in the back of my truck or SUV. I felt like the bracket might break so I decided to move it to the handlebar level. I just took removed the screw that connects the light to the fork and used one of the 4 screws from the handlebar to reattach it. There’s plenty of cable to gently pull out and I cable-tied it to the Purion cable so overall it was very easy. I like it. Now the light is higher and out of the way.
