Motor noise, maybe a bearing?

I busted and fixed a spoke last weekend, and today I noticed while coasting a rumbly/random clicking/loose gravel sound coming from inside my hub.

The motor runs fine, power is good, but I do not like the sound of the hub.

It's a BH 500w with about 2000 miles on it. I don't know what the status of the warranty is with BH exiting the US market (they state 5-year), but I only bought the bike in April, so I'm definitely within a one-year window.

Any thoughts anyone?

Doubt if it's a bearing. More likely a loose magnet or parts of some gear teeth if it's a geared hub.

It's a Nitro Cross, bikeman242.

I was on YouTube last night and couldn't connect a bearing issue at all.

What do you all think about riding it? I'm inclined to use it... I'm pedaling 99.6% of the time, and it's only noisy while coasting?

Oh, and it's not binding, rich c.
If I had debris in the gearing then I would assume I'd get some binding, no?

It’s hardly ever a good idea to continue using something that’s noisy, but your choice. Could be a dry freewheel. Tiny particles in the gears would not bind. If it’s just dry, lubing could fix it. Continue to ride it and the parts could grind until destroyed.
