More trikes spotted

Before I got my recumbent etrike a month ago, I had only seen two trikes locally. In the past two days, I've doubled that. Yesterday, as I was returning from a long ride, I saw a trike with one of those clear fairings on the front (probably good for the cooler weather, lately). Today, while riding around town, I saw a trike that was pedalled by the arms. That rig looked interesting. I didn't get a good enough look to see if they were electric or not.

I don't think it was a matter of just not noticing trikes before, as they do grab your attention. In fact, I get much more notice than I did when on a bike. I've had pedestrians comment as I pass, and many drivers wave or give a thumbs up.

People suddenly realize the utility of a trike and there is enough variety to make a fit for about anyone.
